I wanted to post my favorite Andy Rooney commentary but I’ve decided I don’t have a favorite.

brickfrog:

I know he was, at times, racist and homophobic and generally abrasive, but he was a consistent link from my childhood to my adulthood. Every Sunday, right before 8pm, I could count on Andy Rooney to complain about something for a few minutes, those long ass eyebrows wiggling, that voice modulating in the same exact way for emphasis, and I enjoyed it. Even if I disagreed with him. Thanks, Andy Rooney. I’m glad you lived a full 92 years.

This is exactly how I felt about Andy Rooney. I feel like I lost my grumpy great uncle that I couldn’t help but love.
